Residents of the Centre Park Historic District once again invite the public to enjoy the hard work and creativity that make beautiful city gardens. From lush and elaborate Edens to pocket-sized wonders of design and functionality, city gardens offer a fresh and quiet counterpoint to the vibrant intensity of center-city life.
At the ticket booth in Centre Park, you will receive a map that will take you through the tree-lined streets of the District, allowing you to enjoy the architecture of the homes and churches while you stroll through different gardens. Meet the home-owners, talk to them about the environments they have created and take home an idea or two!
Also, the new Garden Tour offers a number of demonstrations and seminars by Master Gardeners and other gardening experts. Plus, enjoy lunch from the vendors located in the Park. *
